Titan

The Titan is the longest Giant rod we offer. If you need that extended reach from your vessel, the Titan is a 7.5 foot blank that has incredible action and forgiveness up top, but has the brute strength to stand up to whatever drag pressure you decide to use and then some, and land anything that is on the other end of it, while providing the ultimate reach out away from your boat to prevent chafe offs.  It features (7) Winthrop Xcaliber 130 Class guides, plus a Winthrop Xcaliber tip, and a #6 ferrule and nut compatible with #6 bent butts or the T10X Winthrop butt.

Maverick

The Maverick is our flagship rod. It features a 7 foot blank, it has what appears on first glance to be a stiffer tip, but once you get some drag pressure on a fish is when the magic starts with this blank. The top section of the rod has enough strength to bring up the most stubborn fish, but also has enough to give to get you that perfect hook set. It is available in two different variations of rollers, one of which features (7) Winthrop Xcaliber 130 class rollers plus Winthrop Xcaliber tip, or we can also make this rod with (6) of the Xcaliber rollers, and a #6 ferrule and nut compatible with #6 bent butts or the T10X Winthrop butt.

Phoenix

The Phoenix is our entry level Giant Tuna rod. It features a 6.5 foot blank that has great action and forgiveness up top, but also has the brute strength down bottom to land that Giant. Similar to the Maverick, this rod is a great match for anyone from entry level fisherman to the most seasoned professionals. This rod is only available with (6) Winthrop Xcaliber 130 class rollers plus the Xcaliber tip, and a #6 ferrule and nut compatible with #6 bent butts or the T10X Winthrop butt.

Predator

The Predator is a gunnel rod we designed around those of us looking for a gunnel rod that can be used for sharks, chunking yellowfin or school bluefin. It features a 6.5 foot blank, but has a softer blank than the Phoenix. It features a set of (6) 30# class Winthrop Xcaliber rollers, plus an Xcaliber tip. It is set up with a #4 ferrule and nut. Even though this rod is designed around smaller pelagic fish and sharks, do not count this rod out should a Giant end up on the other end of it.

Trench

The Trench is our stand up tuna rod. Built for trolling gear, it is a great set up and is highly customizable. It can be built with a 5 foot blank featuring a ferrule and nut for use with a detachable 18 inch aluminum butt, or it can be built with a 6.5 foot blank featuring solid grips and a built on reel seat. Rods built with solid grips have a curved radiused aluminum locking gimbal, that will not dig into you while planted against your body.  This rod is also available with (6) Winthrop Xcaliber 30 class rollers, but can also be built with (6) Aftco wind on roller guides. No matter how you want to design this rod, it is a fantastic choice for trolling and fighting fish stand up.

Viper

The Viper is our jigging and popping tuna rod. Coming in a just over 5.5 feet, it has all the backbone you need to pop that jig vertically up and down, or to snap that popper along the surface. This rod is built with a solid reel seat, solid butt, and a slightly extended fore grip design. It also features a curved radiused aluminum locking gimbal, that will not dig into you while planted against your body. It features ringless oversized guides that work great with just about any spinning reel combo. This rod was designed specifically after a close friend bought a brand new jig rod that snapped at the tip on its first hookup after an hour plus fight with a big yellowfin. Trust the Viper to land that trophy.

Avenger

The Avenger is our rod designed from a request we got for a rod capable of casting out of a kayak while seated. It features a carbon fiber blank, cut down to just over 5 feet. From the reel seat forward it is the same as our striped bass rod the Fathom, however the butt end is much shorter to allow the user to snap a cast while seated without having to worry about the butt of the rod snagging anything. It features all ringless guides, and is also highly customizable.

Fathom

The Fathom may be the best rod you will ever find for striped bass fishing. The blank is a 6.5 foot carbon fiber, features a curved radiused aluminum locking gimbal, solid rear grip, solid reel seat, and your choice of fore grip. It is built with ringless guides, but is also highly customizable. The balance of this rod is second to none, and has everything from the most sensitive tip for the lightest bite, to the power of being able to handle a 60 lb bass. This year you will see a pair built with Winthrop Roller tips and Winthrop roller stripper guides on Reel American for bass trips.

Atlas

The Atlas is our 6 foot standard fiberglass gaff. It features 2 grips, X shrink wrapped, and the hook of your choice while providing a small amount of flex. All Atlas gaffs are built with an aluminum locking curved and radiused gimbal, and fit in a standard rod holder.

Phantom

The Phantom is our 6 or 4 foot Carbon Fiber gaff. The 6 foot gaff comes standard with 2 grips that are X shrink wrapped, and the hook of your choice. The 4 foot version comes standard with one grip at he base, and the hook of your choice. Both models feature the aluminum curved and radiused gimbal lock and fit in any standard rod holder. These gaffs provide a much stiffer feel than the Atlas, as the carbon fiber blanks do not flex.

Judge

The Judge is our preferred tail gaff being used onboard professional tuna boats "Tuf Guy" and "Irish Exit" out of Point Judith, Rhode Island. It features an 8 foot carbon fiber blank, (3) grips, and a 2 inch heavy duty Winthrop tail hook. The purpose of the three grips is so once you grab that tail you can reach out and choke down to pull the fish closer while maintaining a solid grip. It comes standard with a curved radiused aluminum locking gimbal that fits in any rod holder. This model is customizable with 2 different style grips available, one has X shrink wrapped foam grips, and the other has X cord shrink wrapped grips which are less forgiving on your hands but provide the ultimate holding power.

Scupper

The Scupper is designed around our youth fisherman. They feature carbon fiber blanks that are super light and easy for the smallest anglers to handle, and are highly customizable for spinning or conventional set ups. They can be customized to any color, any length.
